VERNAY MONROE

I'm a practicing artist and recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP). I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in drawing. My instinct is to create work with graphite pencils however I am working to incorporate new media into my practice.

Post graduation, I have found a new passion for the handling and installation of artworks. As an Art Handler I have worked at various locations installing and uninstalling numerous artworks of differing sizes and media. My hope is to continue this line of work in the future and find a balance between art handling and creating a successful studio practice.
